A bit about me.

I was born and grew up in Beijing, China, and spent most of my elementary and secondary school years during the so-called Great Cultural Revolution of Proletarian in China. Partly because of the political turbulences of the times, I selected physics as the major for my undergraduate and graduate studies. In fact, if I could choose again, I would probably pick economics or law.

Since I realized that I was going nowhere with physics, and with a solid mastery of the English language that I'd gained during my school years since I was around 12, I became a Chinese (Mandarin) interpreter and translator. Since then, I have been working hard and learning even harder. In my own opinions and from feedbacks I gathered from clients, I've become an excellent and well-qualified linguist. This competence has also been confirmed by the certificates that few of my fellow interpreter/translators have earned.

I am currently working full-time as a Chinese (Mandarin) interpreter and translator, and can provide my services from my own office in Atlanta, Georgia USA and any locations the client wishes to designate. I have traveled to many places of the world to meet needs of my clients.

As a person, I enjoy reading, travel, hiking, gardening, cooking, watching movies, and funny jokes. I adore our dogs, Daisy and Rowan.
